EXCITING NEWS!
On June 7, 2025 we will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Venerable Matt Talbot’s passing on Granby Lane in Dublin, Ireland.
We have been approached by Bill Rose of Joyful Films who was interetested in making a film documenting the life of Matt Talbot. After learning some of the details of Matt’s life, Bill decided he would like to make a feature length film/documentary. To make it happen we need to raise $250,000 so that we can film in Ireland and the US and complete the 2,000 hours of effort it will take to bring this film together. We have raised more than 10% already and need to get to 20% (or $50,000) so we can make plans to get to Dublin and begin filming ASAP!
The timing is nor crucial if we want to complete the project by June 7, 2025 and have a showing of the film in Dublin on that date! This film has the ability to make Matt more well know and finally bring about his canonization!
Please visit MattTalbotFilm.com to see some videos regarding the project and to make your contribution today! And contact us should you have any questions!
Note that Joyful Films produced the “Power of the Priesthood” film below and many others. Visit their website to see examples of all their current work!
