Monday
9/18/2023 – Instead of 3:00 PM Mass we will haev Mass at 6:30 PM prior to quarterly board meeting. All are welcome for the Mass.
3:00 PM Daily Mass @ Matt Talbot Chapel (please verify we are having Mass before making the trip!)
6:00 PM 1st Monday of the month (moves to 2nd Monday if the 1st Monday falls on a Holiday) – Matt Talbot Secular Franciscan Order Mass and Fraternity Meeting
Tuesday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Matt Talbot Shrine is open in St. Gabriel’s Church.
6:00 PM – Calix Mass and Meeting – we gather at 6:00 PM for prayer and adoration. Mass begins at 6:15 PM followed by our Calix meeting at 7:00 PM.
*** 3rd Tuesday of the Month ***
On the third Tuesday of the month we have a Matt Talbot Holy Hour and Mass at St. Gabriel Church. Holy Hour begins at 6:00 Pm followed by Mass at 7:00 PM. Tuesday.
Wednesday
9:30 AM – Contemplative Prayer Group @ Matt Talbot Chapel – we use the day’s gospel as our entry into contemplative prayer. Read the gospel the night before to become familiar with it. It will be read again during the hour followed by sharing on the message attendees received. It will be read a 3rd time during which we place ourselves in “the scene”. Sharing of experience follows. The 4th reading of the gospel takes place during Mass. After Communion we have an extended time of quiet (10-15 minutes) to rest in the gospel. All are welcome!
10:30 AM – Daily Mass @ Matt Talbot Chapel
4:00 – 6:00 PM Fr. Douglas McKay and Ken Johnston can be heard on the radio on 800 AM or livestreamed through www.inhissign.com. 4-5 is “Saints and Sinners; 5-6 Ken interviews someone in the Catholic world. Recorded shows can be found at www.inhissign.com by clicking on “Content” and then “All Podcasts”
